Happy Thanksgiving!
We had a great time at Cassy's house on Thursday. The food was delicious, the company was wonderful, and a good time was had by all. The turkey tasted delicious and all of the fixings were tremendous. It was so nice to have Cindi and David as company and everyone had so much fun talking and spending time with them. It looked like David found a new friend in Shawnna. They sat outside in the entryway and relaxed for hours after the dinner was eaten. We hope the trip to Utah was safe and everyone was in good spirits in that little car on the long road trip. Enjoy the holidays, there is never enough time to do everything we want with our family. Love each other!
So how did everyone's Thanksgiving go? Do tell.
I'm looking forward to my yams this weekend!
Love
Jocelyn

The last three days I hae been a total slacker....yes, even more than usual. I have spent the last three days with Landon and Stacia....so far Ive got Landon to saying..."chicks dig it!" Perfect! I have gotten to watch a lot of cartoons and learned that Stacia does not like cheez on her ham sandwiches. Stacia is great at playin hoops on the lil tykes basketball hoop. Honestly, never seen two kids under 5 so well behaved. Landon, when he cries, you can actualy tell him to stop crying...and 9/10 times he will stop...crazy. And Stacia...i would hate to be bobby...that girl can bat her eyes and show a pouty face and get her way every time. She will make bobby have to keep the shotgun next to the doorduring her teenage years....she is going to be a heart breaker.

So far. 4 days into my trip to Utah...I am happy and relaxed. I love being around these two kids....and Bobby and Gina are pretty cool as well....Bobby and I havent laughed so hard in years...who knew that putting a toilet in a basement would be so much fun...dad...it is great...we even have water hooked up to it so you do not have to user a bucket to refill the toilet with water....AMAZING HUH!

Good times hav been had, yet anticipating more as the week goes on and the family comes together....so excited...let the yelling and screaming of love and joy begin.

So very Thankfull for this time together!
Yeah, I'm finally 'with it'!! Here's the post I tried to post the other day:

Just trying to figure out how this works!! In the process of trying to sign in, I just went along and created another blog! Famille Duffort is the name. Hopefully Patrice's side of the family will do as well with it as the Ginn's have with theirs. I love seeing the pictures and reading about what everyone is doing. Thank you so much for creating this. Glad it's working better than a newsletter! It sure makes it easy to keep up with everyone.
Since I'm writing, I should take a minute to say that our trip to CA was great, all the way around. The kids traveled very well and the trips were pretty uneventful both ways, which is always a welcomed thing when traveling alone with 4 kids. We enjoyed spending time with Gramma Cass and being able to visit with Andy, Ninha, Shawnna and Drew almost every day. The cousins know each other much better now. Of course the kids loved our trip to Disneyland. The girls were in seventh heaven with all those princesses! I'll have to post some pictures soon.
Now that I know how to do this (kind of!) I'll try to post often.
Have a happy Thanksgiving.
Love from Luxembourg

We left Drew alone for maybe 2 minutes. This is him on his first day of walking! Or should I say climbing! Posted by Picasa

He's already got an attitude. Look at that face! Posted by Picasa

David and Cindi finally got here.
David had visa problems on Sat so they were delayed until
Tuesday. Bummmmer! Here they are waiting for mam to get
ready so we can go play. We were going to magic mountain but
they were too tiered from the flight.

Hello anyone,
Hey, whoever is the administrator of the lovely blog, could you send an invitation to Jocelyn at jduffort@hotmail.com?
She has been trying to do it for the last few days, but it won't let her. We would love your help and hope all is well with everyone during this busy Holiday Season.
With Love,

Last night went off exactly as planned! I can't believe that everyone I invited showed up. I had planned a surprise unbirthday party for Ninha, and it turned out amazing. I know it wasn't her birthday, but in March I didn't do anything for her real birthday. I invited 25 people to have a nice dinner at a Brazilian restaurant, and 35 people showed up. There was enough room for everyone to sit down but not anywhere for Ninha and I to sit. Fun was had by all and it was great food. The most amazing part of the dinner was the cake. I had special ordered a cake from a specialty bakery in Dana Point. It was an arial view of Rio de Janeiro. The whole thing was made of white chocolate and Ninha loved it. Check out the pictures, and thanks to all those who showed up. Ninha loved it!

UTAH BOUND

Well, I was just thinking that i would give everyone a heads up as to my travel plans. I will be leaving around 10 p.m. central time tonight (Friday). We were going to leave at noon today and then we got word that The Creighton mens soccer team was hosting their first round match in the NCAA soccer tournament. As dissapointed I am with their style of play this fall, I could not pass up a capacity crowd of 8,000 people in 35 degree weather. It just sounded too fun to pass up. SO Early Saturday morning (depending on the need to stop and sleep or not) I will roll into Utah County and be dropped off by our IWCC Men's captain (from springville) his wife (from Lehi) and our womens captain (from west Jordan). You would think that these kids were sick of me after 3.5 months of me yelling and demanding stuff out of them on the soccer pitch. Anyway. I will be in town from Saturday to the following Sunday after the holiday. Love y'all.

Here we have Drew trying to fall asleep on his own. Since he turned one last week, we decided to have him fall asleep alone. This took about 30 - 45 minutes of him screaming nonstop. Ninha was not feeling good about it, just to hear his screams made her sad. It looks like he never got the idea of lying down to sleep, he just got too tired from screaming and was left standing up.
Now that soccer is over and the relationship with Britt is over...i find myself bored and lacking desire to do anything. Fortunatly I get to see all of your smiling faces next week as well as my Utah friends. I hope it will rejuvinate me and give me energy/desire to keep pushing.

I am planning on being in town this Saturday...I will likely drop in on some friends or Bobbys for my first night in town. Anyone have an extra cr for me to scoot around in for the week?

I am driving out there with the maried couple on the team. Much cheaper than flying. And it will give me a lot of time to catch up on one of my papers for my English class. Oh and Hamlet...what a great book...except for that bloody OLD ENGLISH crap!

Anyway, I am busy at work scheduling next season and making sure that kids are attending class.

Club soccer is going well. My club girls...that are not good at all, are playing in one of the hugest tournaments in the nation...they will get slaughtered...but I am trying to get them prepared for what is about to happen to them. Teaching defense all the time ets boring, but i am trying to find different ways to implement it though.

Anyway, thought i would catch you up....oh yeah...winter is upon us...the bitterness begins today in the mid west.

Love y'all!!!

One more Birthday! Well, we decided to have an exclusive birthday party for Drew today. Andy got a postcard in the mail from Von's supermarket for a free birthday cake. Imagine that! What a coincidence! Once again we let him have his way with the cake. Unfortunately, he wasn't afraid of the candle and he went straight for it. He did put it out, but not by blowing it out. He used his fingers, and didn't like how it burned. As you can see in the first picture!
Seeing as how it was November 11, Gramma Ginn's Birthday, we decided to visit her and Grampa Ginn at the Cemetary. We cleaned the gravestone and left some beautiful red roses. Just like Gramma used to like! She and Grampa are doing great up on the hill, enjoying the shade of a cute little tree. It was a wonderful day!

Hello all,
This is a set of pictures that were taken at the joint birthday for both Guillaume and DrewIV. We sat little Drew down in front of his first cake just to see what he would do. HE LOVED IT! It was great. Fun was had by all that participated. We thank you all for your support and love. Have a great weekend.

Who is that little pig?

Halloween - Alexa - Strawberry Shortcake

Brinley - Princess Analise (Princess and the Pauper)

Natalie - the Little Pig that cried Wee wee wee all the way home.

A couple more pics from DWorld.

Hi all,
Thanks for posting all of the fun stuff. Here are a few pictures from our trip to D-World. It's all about the Princesses- isn't it? We all had a great time. We stayed at the animal Kingdom Lodge for the first few days. I came home on Sunday and the girls and Nana (Brandi's Mom) went to the Wide World of Movies, or something like that hotel. It was warm and muggy the while I was there before Hurricane Wilma came through. Brandi said the days following the hurricane were nice and cool and much less humid....go figure! We pretty much did the whole thing...Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and MGM studios. One park each day. I hope you enjoy the pictures. Now we are trying to get Alexa all caught up on her homework. Glad to see you are all doing well.
