Some exciting news.... Alienor, at 8 years and 3 days, finally lost her first tooth! The tooth fairy will be stopping by tonight with a 2 Euro coin as we couldn't keep up the silver dollar tradition that we had a children. Besides, inflation!
Well, we just did karate and now we're off to ballet. I'll post a picture of Alienor later. Yes, we finally got the new battery charger. But wouldn't you know, we got out the old one and it still worked!! I guess it dried out enough after taking a bath. So I'll be taking some pictures soon.
Have a great day. The sun is actually shining here and around 40 degrees which is nice.

Good boy Jeff, I´m glad everything worked out well with your surgery. I´ve been thinking about you a lot. Hope everyone is well. Nathan, it would be fun to get some fotos of mom and the girls (and YOU) while she´s there. Tell her to have fun. Love you all.

Walking around is great! The surgery took just over 30 minutes. Dr. Larose went in found minimal loose cartilage but found that MY jdgement on the inury was correct. 3 years ago I had a bucket handle tear on my meniscus. they decided to sew it up instead of cut it off. They did this knowing that one day I might have to cut it off. Pretty much when I reinjured myself in October I re pinched that area and Dr. Larose just cut it off. I am to wear the knee wrap until Wenesday. I am supposed to do som rehab exercises before I go to sleep. Dr. laros said 5 days, I will feel normal...2 weeks I can play soccer again. Impressive. I am in minimal pain, however have been ver queezy all afternoon. Thanks for all of your prayers and thoughts...Nortons, it is so nice to be able to keep in touch with you and then Cassy Ginn side of the family. I love reading all of your blog entries. Keep writing them I truly enjoy being cuaght up with everyone.

Love y'all!
Well Jeff, we wish you all the best as you head into surgery today. You are young and I am sure that you will be back on your feet racing around before you know it. The other day I had Spencer on my back and we were running across our backyard (about 150 ft) and I wondered how I earth I was running at all when just a couple of years ago no one thought I would walk normally again. Even us old people can come back with enough work.

We will be thinking of you today. Our best to you and everyone else in the Ginn Clan.

When I had knee surgery three years ago I had no tests done prior to getting cut up....TODAY...holy crap! Today went like this:
8-9 am went to work
9:15-10:30 Drew my blood, had an EKG done, and had my lungs x-rayed
10:45-12:30 met my new physician...Last one I had was Dr. Caruth...told me I was pretty normal, however said I was a little above normal in regards to my kidney tests...fun. Otherwise I am healthy as can be...He reminded me that I was young...I have a lot of years ahead of me to get sick.
1-4:30 went back to work.

For some of you this may not have been an odd experience, but for me it was...I had to explain why I preferred to wear no shirt instead of the white t-shirt. Heavens knows It wasn't because I wanted to show off my pudgy body. I wish it was just a plain white shirt at that point. I had to explain it three times. FYI-People think us mormons are crazy and weird...I remind them that we are peculiar.

Anyway, keep me in your prayers. I will be getting my right knee scoped and possibly re-sewn (if they find something not good) at 10:15 am central time.

Love and miss you all.

P.S. Iowa Soccer Association has hinted that they want me to be a full time worker for them. They have not told me much about anything, other than they are creating a job that they think I would be great at...Interesting, but likely wont get me to leave what I have going here. I will keep y'all posted!

Thank You Cindi for that great post and thanks to everyone else.
Here is a pic of Shans new hair color for cindi since she asked
half of THE WHAREHOUSE.
Raquel on the left. Monica on the right. I sit where the empty chair is.
Monica.
Yo.
Raquel.
So, this is where I work and the girls I work with. Thanks to them I go home laughing every day instead of crying because of how boring it is!!

Just so you know, I sent the card to Perceval because in the list my dad sent me his birthday is in January. But hey, he´ll get two this year!!

Carlos, my father in law, on a good day. Julias garden that she is OH SO proud of! The last one is for Nathan.... something YOU don´t see every day, no? It´s a bidet (it´s where you wash your backside after you go potty!)

So I took a side job for the next 10 days. My friend is a limo driver. He told me that they needed more drivers for the Sundance film festival. I said ok I need some more cash. The first 5 days I am assigned to drive Robert Downey Jr and His wife Susan around. I work 8 pm-8 am. They have been tucked into bed by 11:30 both nights. Last night Susan fell asleep on the way back from Sundance resort to Park City so Robert and I had a good chat for about 25 min. They are real nice and it seems as though Roberts crazy days are behind him. He has no desire to go to the party's after he is done promoting his movie. I hope to get a picture with them before I am done. Lots of Fun and getting paid well too.

http://brandiginn.typepad.com/
What is Brandi's web site? It would be nice to check it out.
Our fun news is that we got our new car yesterday. It's a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder with all the bells and whistles. They took our old car back (Nissan Terrano) which was a relief. We were happy to have made it through three years with it without any major repairs needed. Heavenly Father knew we would not enjoy finding a mechanic in Germany so he spared us that trial! Whew! The fun feature on the new car is the rear camera which shows up on the GPS display screen. It'll come in handy when trying to parallel park downtown!
Tomorrow we head to Paris for a last minute family reunion to celebrate the 60th birthday of my mother-in-law. She has spent the week there with a friend, and her sister and daughter Anouck who lives there. We are all coming for the surprise birthday party part. We are hanging out to surprise her in the bathrooms of the Institut du monde Arabe (Arab world Institute) which should be interesting. Sounds bizarre but apparently the bathroom is magnificent (indoor plumbing?! just kidding) with columns, etc. I'll tell you how it goes and what the bathrooms look like!! Getting away for the weekend is actually a real vacation because I don't have to worry about Primary for Sunday!
Have a great weekend.
We send our love from Luxembourg!
Jocelyn
PS Thank you Cindi for the cards for the kids. Alienor loved getting mail. Just curious, was Perceval's card a little late for his birthday last year, or a little early for his birthday this year?!!

MRI Status

I took the images of my MRI in to the doctor today. They concluded that I will once again go under the knife. The MRI explained that the ACL is still in tact and the Meniscus may have re toarn (10% chance). There is a lot of cartiledge (spell check) around my acl and he believes I will walk out of surgery...yes, walk out. The 10% chance basicaly means that there is a 10% chance that i will be on crutches for 4-6 weeks. With technology today, he will not even have to create a new inscision...so no extra ugly scars. I chose next Friday so i could r & r over the weekend.

I am excited..maybe after this, I can get my cavities fixed up and get a cleaning.

All is well, I am happy and pressing forward.

I will not comment on the growing pains of starting a club, just know that I am learning a lot and using deligation to my advantage big time.

I viewed Brandi's web site today and saw th bag I gave to her as a Christmas gift on display...that made me smile.

Love you all!

I have been having a difficult time getting on here at work. I finaly figured it out.

I am busier than I have ever been before. It is crazy trying to coach four college sports and run a soccer club. Exciting, but very time consuming. I finaly got some pictures from when I went to texas so I thought I would throw the one of me on here. As you can see from the two coats, it was very cold our last day in texas. Sadly, as cold as it was in Texas that day, we flew into a bitter Omaha airport at 13 degrees and 30 mph winds. The two days of warmth in texas were worth it though!

Hope you are all smiling and happy!

I have just changed jobs. I passed my Loan Officer Test and start doing loans on Monday the 16th. I can do loans anywhere in the US so if you are looking to refinance to lower your rates or purchase a house, let me know. I need some practice and will have a veteran helping me for the first few months. He said we should be able to get the best rates possible. Thanks

It is so nice to see how everyone is doing. I feel closer to everybody because we can all keep in touch so easily.

Keep Smiling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love Bobby

Here's one of Perceval enjoying the beach in Capistrano. What is it about kids that they love to throw rocks and sand? All the kids had a great time even though it was cold that afternoon. You could tell we were tourists because no local would've been there at that hour given the weather!

Poor Perceval fell off the curb at Gramma Cass's house - and onto his nose!

Since he skipped his nap to go play at the beach, he ended up skipping dinner at Olemendi's too!

I thought I'd go searching for a few existing pictures to post. Just for fun. Here's one where we all look decent. Mrs. Santini still looks as good as ever.

Jocelyn - your comments made me laugh out loud. How scary that I have become New Jerseyfied. The even scarier thing is that my children say things like wooter instead of water and drop the word with and say things like "I'm done my homework." We might as well be living in a foreign country.
Oh, no, Marion! You say 'Jersey' now!! Just remember you are from SOUTHERN California but currently live in SOUTH Jersey. And you guys think I live in a foreign country! Try visiting the Nortons!
We love you all and will post some pictures once we get our battery charger which is waiting for us at a friend's house in Germany. One of these days...
Love Jocelyn and family.

It is so great to see you all (since I haven't in ages) and your beautiful children. I hope everyone has a great day. Love to you all from all of us here in Jersey.
