Happy Birthday Dad! Happy Anniversary Patrice and Jocey, welcome back from Powell Bobby and Gina and congratulations to the spaniards for winning the European Cup. They played a beautiful brand of football and deserved the 20th victory in a row.

Utah days;
1) I got to see mom this weekend, we had fun relaxing with Milly and Lauren all day Saturday.
2) This past weekend my soccer club (www.infinitysc.com) made their debut in a tournament. They won the tournament while knocking off the state cup champions, went 5-0-0, scored 26 goals and allowed 7 in their first appearance.
3) Actually dating someone that is chasing me (sorry mom, she's 20, but you met her so...?)
4) Ive nearly gotten my Iowa farmers tan gone and I am enjoying a little more freedom now that tryouts are complete and training schedules are set.
5) Real Salt Lake is in second place in the west and it seems that Bobby, Gina Dad and I will hit up the July 3rd match and get a firework show to end the night.
6) Church is fun, FHE was Beach volleyball and socializing.
7) Happier than I have been in a long while.

Thanks for all of your prayers and thoughts, they are paying off.

Love you all.
Happy B Day Dad/Far Away Gpa

HAPPY BELATED (Only 1 day)

14TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!!

I remembered on Sunday but wanted to post this picture of the two of you on that Special Day!!

Also, I hope Jocelyn won't be too upset with me, but I am including a paragraph from an email I received from her today. I thought it had a wonderful idea of a way for you young families to celebrate your anniversaries!!

"One thing I forgot to tell Mom was that we had a cake, that Bernadette made, after lunch on Sunday. I decorated it with 14 candles and told the kids it was a surprise birthday. Then we blew them out and we explained that 14 years ago we started our family so it was our family’s birthday. In other words it was our 14th wedding anniversary."

LOVE, MOM

dad,
HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY
BIRTHDAY!!!!!
67 YEARS....HOW ABOUT THAT!
WE HOPE YOU HAVE A BETTER THAN AVERAGE DAY!
At your age you can´t ask for much better than that!!!
LOVE YOU!

Thank you Bobby for the cool summer post and we love the apartment and other pictures you posted Cindi. We are so glad you found what looks like a wonderful place for girls camp.
We hope to be getting updates on lake Powell and wedding bells in the next few days. I even have some pictures of Ron Holst turning 65 yesterday but will have to post them later. Summer is here and we are very busy at work so I seem to be tired all the time. The big 67 is coming up on Monday June 30. Just a not so subtle reminder.

Our bedroom.

Well, since I had to "clean house" for the guests on Monday I took some pics for mom and dad. There are still lots of details to take care of in the apartment, but they´ll have to wait!

mom and dads room (my "office") and the only room that hasn´t been painted.

The mirror we put up in the dinning room. (See mom what I was saying about the grapes, they need to be hung a bit lower)

...The other thing that is keeping me busy this week is girls camp! Yup, it´s that time of year again. Yesterday before cleaning the house and cooking and having people over David and I drove up north to look at a few campsites. I found one that´s nice and it´s literally right next to a little rivier.

Of course I made fajitas and refried beans and salsa etc (what else do I know how to make?). One of the couples that came was Abi (davids best friend) and his wife and little girl. The other couple has a little boy. They were fun to watch playing together.

Relaxing on the oh so wonderful couch! Julia likes it better than hers!

Well Bobby you asked for it!! This is what Cindi and David are up to this summer...

...First I have to say that last Saturday was my last day of work at the little clothing store (yipee!) and I don´t start my new job at Bulgari until next Tuesday (another yipee!)...

...Since I have sooo much time on my hands I´m trying to keep myself busy. Today the 24th of June is Saint Johns day (see John you should come over here and live they have a holiday just for you!!) and we have the day off. But when you really celebrate it is the night before with dinner and "coca" it´s a type of cake thing and fireworks. So because we have and apartment that fits more than two people now we decided to have some people over for dinner...

Thank you for the calls. Mom got me a book about William Shattner. The Hillmans got me a book and a card from the kids. The answer to Chris's request is no I can't afford it.( a routine answer from dads )
I Love all my kids and remarked to Marie how blessed we have been by the goodness of all of our children. Not having to worry about children really helps o keep us young and young looking.
See picture!
HAPPY FATHER´S DAY TO ALL YOU FABULOUS FATHERS!

I think we are totally out of the loop on this one. Can someone explain Gina's exciting television debut? Sounds pretty exciting to us. We would love to hear more about how it all came to be. By the way Ed, be careful about throwing around that forty number. As the second in line to hit that number next I am staying clear of it for now. When my children asked me what I wanted for my birthday this year I was pleased to tell them that my wish had already come true because I wasn't turning forty this year. I am committed to turning thirty-nine again next year if needs be.

Have a great day everyone.

We are looking forward to the addition of a new Grand daughter to our family in the next few days. We are praying for the health and well being of mother and daughter.
WOW
B & G Ginn
Thank you so much for taking the time to post your exciting day on this blog.

WOW

Gina your are WOW and Liz, Rachel, Amanda WOW and Stacia cute. Did they do a little make up on Stacia? I say they did and Marie says they didn't?

The Ginn boys -----good thing they were in the audience 'cause one needs to wash his face now that he looks almost 40 without the accessory
and the other needs to learn how to dress up for a special events.
They both look like they were having a good time.
It was nice to see Julie there and all the other friends and family supporting Gina (THE STAR). I don't understand why they didn't ask Gina for her brownie recipe? It is so good!
By the way how were THE cookies? I'm sure everyone had some after the show.

Love and Congratulations,
Dad Ginn

Good Things Utah was soooo much fun. I am so glad I had the chance to do it . Everyone was so nice and I even managed to set Jeff up with one of the Co-Host's nanny!! He was nervous that I was going to embarrass him on TV which I would have done, but I ran out of time. Anyway it was a really fun moment for me.

Hi all,
Hopefully I will get some more pics from Marion for fathers day would love to see Abby, John and Gracie. We have talked to Bobby and Jeff they were both at the show that Gina participated in today. They report that she was real cute and dd a great job. Bobby said they offered her a Million dollar contract but she turned it down because it wasn't enough NOT. Anyway it was a great day for Gina. It has been taped and I am sure we will see it when we are in Utah for David's wedding. Hopefully they will have some stills to post on the blog.
Cassy great post love the kids and the apron!
Stacia great dancing and Landon great board splitting. Always good to see my grandkids in action.
Love to all,
Dad
PS Cindi the apartment looks very nice-love the couches. Hope to sit in them someday

soon?
HI ALL!! Oh, my gosh, my golly!! Was today the day for Gina to be in front of 'lights - camera - action?' I heard all about it when I was at Ed and Marie's for Mother's Day dinner, and it sounded so exciting for her!! But sorry to say, it totally slipped my 'Aged to Perfection' mind - next time I will post it on my Outlook - it's getting to be the only way for me to remember things!! Hey, hope that somebody, had someone take some really great pics of Gina in her 'professional hair, makeup' and 'camera-ready' outfit!! How exciting to have another CELEBRITY in the family - WAY TO GO GINA!!
Love,
Aunt Cassy
I´ve been thinking about Gina all day!! I hope she had fun co-hosting today. Hopefully SOME day I´ll be able to see how fabulous she was!
hugs for all.

HI ALL!! Who doesn’t enjoy getting something in the mail, especially a ‘package.’ Grandparents love getting packages in the mail, especially when they are from their children or grandchildren. Recently, I received a package in the mail from Ninha, Shawnna and Drew – what a fun surprise for this ‘Old Grandma TaTa’!! In it were the pictures shown above. The ones of Shawnna and Drew are this year’s school pictures, which were taken early in the school year and of course, pre ‘short hair cuts’!! They both have grown a lot this year, especially Drew – in these early years, the children just ‘shoot up like flowers.’!! The picture of Andy and the kids was taken about a year ago – so you can see lots of change and growth with the kids – Andy’s about the same – hopefully, he’s finished growing!! Another item tucked away inside my package, was the fun ‘apron’ you see me ‘modeling’ at my office (another Mother’s Day present) – showing off to my fellow employees!! I'm sure Ninha did the basic artwork, with the kids coloring in the objects. If any of you are around me for any length of time, and especially if it’s time spent around my house, you know I am an ‘apron wearer.’ This is a throw back to my days of working in the liquor stores – it started as sort of a ‘phase’ because it was always kind of dusty and dirty there but somehow it stuck and even followed me home – where I have a ‘veritable cornucopia’ of different aprons – one for every kind of holiday and those to compliment the color of my ‘attire’ while ‘cooking’ and ‘entertaining’ (HeeHee – as if I really do any of that!!)
Well, anyway, Thanks Ninha, Shawnna and Drew for the sending of the ‘package’ and the bright spot it was in my day!!

Love,
Grandma TaTa

Stacia had her end of year dance recital last Saturday, she and her cousin McKenna take at the same place so it was a lot of fun for both of them. The dances were so cute and of course they did a great job!!

The kitchen...a bit cleaner than the last picture I posted of it.

As promised and only three days after receiving the couches, pictures of the living/dinning room.

I´m standing at the door you enter when entering the house. The other door/hallway you see is the hall that goes to the kitchen, two bathrooms and two bedrooms.

Hi All!! This is my first attempt at downloading a video, so here goes. These videos are of Shawnna riding her bicycle - they just recently took the training wheels off, and Drew riding his tricycle with his new 'big boy' hair cut. There isn't any sound, so you have to enjoy 'as is.' Hope this works!!
Love you all,
Cassy

Hi All!! Remember a couple of weeks ago when it was Shawnna's chance to get a hair cut, well, yesterday, little Drew went under the 'SCISSORS.' He got his very first 'BIG BOY - MANLY' hair cut. Isn't he a 'cutie.' And check out those 'blue teeth' - He got a 'blue sucker' and 'animal balloon' for being such a good boy while getting his hair cut!! It'll be fun to see if he slathers on some gel and spikes that hair up like his Dad and Grandma TaTa!!
Love you Drew - Love you All,
Grandma TaTa
