Bobby, Gina and Stacia

Can anyone else find the first familty picture after their first child?

08 Summertime with GPA

Happy New Year----- I think?
Cindi left last night and called us from the Barcelona Airport this morning (it was 9pm in Spain)
She was very tiered and not looking forward to eating grapes with her in laws etc. TO WELCOME IN THE NEW YEAR. She wanted sleep. Hope things get better for her in the new year. Mom woke up sick this morning. After a month of pushing herself she is just exhausted. She called in sick at work so you know she is not in good shape. Anyway we miss Cindi.
Thank you Jeff for posting the videos they were special. It was thoughtful of you to show the kids using and enjoying their banks. Hope you have a great year. Too bad the igloo didn't go up one more level but it looked awesome as it was.
Thank you Bobby for the sledding vids. That looks like so much fun. I think you may have started a new fad "WHEEL BARREL SLEDDING"
Cassy, thanks for keeping us informed about you and yours. We not only enjoy the pictures but the commentary helps us to know what is going on with Jocy and Andy and the grand kids.
Was glad to hear that Brian was able to spend the holidays with Marion and the family. Hopefully in the new year they will be able to sell the house in NJ so Marion and the kids can move to Utah and they can be all together again.
We can always hope to get an input from Nathan but I am not going to hold my breath. I don't like the color blue that much! I must say that we really enjoyed Nathan and Alexa while they were here. Wish we were closer. But then we say that about all of our children.
And while we all struggle with our day to day problems Jimmy walks to the beach and takes a swim. ALOHA TO ALL AND TO ALL A BETTER NEW YEAR!
Love dad

Saturday night we spent with Shawna and Chris. Shawna is Cindi's close friend from high school days. They have a lovely house and fed us a great meal of burritos and tacos. Everybody in our family has Wii now so Marie and I wanted to be introduced to several Wii activities. Bowling, Tennis, Golf, Boxing and then they got out the Hard Rock instruments and played. It was much harder than I thought it would be and I had a sore arm the next day but it was quite entertaining.

Christmas Day was unusual this year. We slept in and didn't open gifts until around eleven o'clock.
Cassy came over later and we had a nice meal and talked and played cards. The green box held a special gift of love that I will share with you later. We all posed in the beautiful California sunshine. Eat your heart out frozen north countries. The only thing white about our Christmas was the tree we are standing next to for the group picture.

Before Nathan and Alexa had to leave we took these pictures. We had a great time with Alexa, Nathan, Jeff and Cindi. It was great to have them all together in our home!

Hi All!! With winter bearing down on all of us, sometimes our bodies get run down and illness gets the better of us. That's what happen to Drew, he's had a cold for the last little while but today, it got the better of him...or should I say, his fever got higher and higher, until Ninha thought it severe enough to get him to the ER. Christmas Eve, what a day to spend in the ER (Marion, you know all about that, huh!!) but at least, they got his fever down and he's doing better and gets to go home later today. There's Shawnna being the 'Big Sister' and staying close. The blurry pic is Drew having a seizure because of the high fever!! I'm not exactly sure why the 'pouty' pic - maybe Drew is worried that Santa won't know where to find him or that he won't be home in time for Jolly Old St Nick to deliver his goodies!! But I have it on good report that all is well with Drew and he'll be home snug as a bug in his bed before Santa and his reindeer start their long journey this Christmas Eve!!
Hopefully, all of those in the family who are traveling over this Holiday Seasn will do so in safety and arrive home to their loved ones - Happy, Healthy and Thankful for all the blessings and memories of this special time of year!!
Love, Cassy

Hi All!! The Christmas Season is here and one of the time honored traditions is the 'School Christmas Party.' Here are Shawnna and Drew dressed up in their 'Christmas' outfits at the Christmas party given at Ninha's pre-school. Both kids are quite 'spiffy' in their Christmas colors and look like they're having a fun time!

HI ALL!! Recently Jocelyn's ward primary put on a program about the Birth of Christ and Jocelyn sent a couple of pics, so I wanted to share. If you look 'closely' you can see Perceval as the 'bright star' in the sky looking down on Mary (our very own Margot)! She is a 'movie star' in the making!

This is a very special time of year, when we remember the Birth of Our Savior and it is made more special by being able to experience it through the eyes of our children and grandchildren!

Nathan and Alexa arrive!! The pictures are bad it lets you know they got here. Alexa waiting patiently at Radio Shack while Aunt Cindi is getting an electricity converter for her Blackberry.
boring but she was a good girl and was very patient. We started the day at Dana Harbor looking at the boats and the Marine Institute. The on to the point at Dana Point. Later that night we went to pops series in Costa Mesa. Lots of Christmas music and a great orchestra.

On Friday afternoon we went to Dana point to look through the tide pools but we got there at the wrong time. Even so Nathan and Alexa walked the beach and explored the rocks.
Alexa wanted a beach with more shells and stuff so after Dana Point we went down to North Beach in San Clemente and Alexa not only searched through the sand she kept tempting the surf and ooooops!!! one got her and spilled her on her rear in the surf. And she loved it. And I enjoyed the swing. It was a bright sunny day with a light breeze. Not bad for the 19th of December.

Saturday afternoon Alexa played in the surf at Salt creek. It was low tide so it was fun for her to chase the birds and look for sand crabs and shells and stuff. It was a cool 64 and the watter was probably 57 but for Alexa it was a walk in the park. She had a great time and mad a neat sand castle that Nathan and Cindi captured on their cameras since they were closer to the action than I was at the time.

Saturday night we went to CATS the musical at the preforming arts center. It was a daddy daughter date night. Alexa and Nathan and Ed and Cindi. After the performance we went to the cheesecake factory for dessert. We got to bed about midnight but everybody was up and ready to go to church by 8:30 AM

Wheelbarrowing- A new form of snow fun

So we didn't have a sled or disc but we had a 4 wheeler so we had to create a sled so we could pull the kids around.

Our next door neighbor had an old wheelbarrow so we took off the frame and there you go....even better than a disk or sled.

Whos kid is this?
