Happy Birthday Dad! Happy Anniversary Patrice and Jocey, welcome back from Powell Bobby and Gina and congratulations to the spaniards for winning the European Cup. They played a beautiful brand of football and deserved the 20th victory in a row.

Utah days;
1) I got to see mom this weekend, we had fun relaxing with Milly and Lauren all day Saturday.
2) This past weekend my soccer club (www.infinitysc.com) made their debut in a tournament. They won the tournament while knocking off the state cup champions, went 5-0-0, scored 26 goals and allowed 7 in their first appearance.
3) Actually dating someone that is chasing me (sorry mom, she's 20, but you met her so...?)
4) Ive nearly gotten my Iowa farmers tan gone and I am enjoying a little more freedom now that tryouts are complete and training schedules are set.
5) Real Salt Lake is in second place in the west and it seems that Bobby, Gina Dad and I will hit up the July 3rd match and get a firework show to end the night.
6) Church is fun, FHE was Beach volleyball and socializing.
7) Happier than I have been in a long while.

Thanks for all of your prayers and thoughts, they are paying off.

Love you all.

HAPPY BELATED (Only 1 day)

14TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!!

I remembered on Sunday but wanted to post this picture of the two of you on that Special Day!!

Also, I hope Jocelyn won't be too upset with me, but I am including a paragraph from an email I received from her today. I thought it had a wonderful idea of a way for you young families to celebrate your anniversaries!!

"One thing I forgot to tell Mom was that we had a cake, that Bernadette made, after lunch on Sunday. I decorated it with 14 candles and told the kids it was a surprise birthday. Then we blew them out and we explained that 14 years ago we started our family so it was our family’s birthday. In other words it was our 14th wedding anniversary."

LOVE, MOM

dad,
HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY
BIRTHDAY!!!!!
67 YEARS....HOW ABOUT THAT!
WE HOPE YOU HAVE A BETTER THAN AVERAGE DAY!
At your age you can´t ask for much better than that!!!
LOVE YOU!

Thank you Bobby for the cool summer post and we love the apartment and other pictures you posted Cindi. We are so glad you found what looks like a wonderful place for girls camp.
We hope to be getting updates on lake Powell and wedding bells in the next few days. I even have some pictures of Ron Holst turning 65 yesterday but will have to post them later. Summer is here and we are very busy at work so I seem to be tired all the time. The big 67 is coming up on Monday June 30. Just a not so subtle reminder.

Our bedroom.

Well, since I had to "clean house" for the guests on Monday I took some pics for mom and dad. There are still lots of details to take care of in the apartment, but they´ll have to wait!

mom and dads room (my "office") and the only room that hasn´t been painted.

The mirror we put up in the dinning room. (See mom what I was saying about the grapes, they need to be hung a bit lower)

...The other thing that is keeping me busy this week is girls camp! Yup, it´s that time of year again. Yesterday before cleaning the house and cooking and having people over David and I drove up north to look at a few campsites. I found one that´s nice and it´s literally right next to a little rivier.

Of course I made fajitas and refried beans and salsa etc (what else do I know how to make?). One of the couples that came was Abi (davids best friend) and his wife and little girl. The other couple has a little boy. They were fun to watch playing together.

Relaxing on the oh so wonderful couch! Julia likes it better than hers!

Well Bobby you asked for it!! This is what Cindi and David are up to this summer...

...First I have to say that last Saturday was my last day of work at the little clothing store (yipee!) and I don´t start my new job at Bulgari until next Tuesday (another yipee!)...

...Since I have sooo much time on my hands I´m trying to keep myself busy. Today the 24th of June is Saint Johns day (see John you should come over here and live they have a holiday just for you!!) and we have the day off. But when you really celebrate it is the night before with dinner and "coca" it´s a type of cake thing and fireworks. So because we have and apartment that fits more than two people now we decided to have some people over for dinner...
