Working on the back yard.
1. Leveled the dirt
2. Put down the plastic
3. Had the man bring in 400+ lbs of stone.
4. Tried to rearrange big stones only succeeded
in breaking one.
5. Tested beach stones for boarder and coverage.
6. Old mans wheel barrow = walker with a bucket
This project has really turned into a night mare- hope it does not kill me.

This is what the work on the outside of the house look like.
1Those things that look like shingles are preformed sheets of vinyl. No maintenance never need to paint and termites will not eat.
2 All of the trim wood and eves are wrapped in aluminum. If you look hard you can see the seam on the trim above the garage door.
3. the soffets ( the space underneath the eves) is filled with sandy colored vinyl.
4 . the whole house was painted a more sandy color.
5. New gates were built and painted to match the darker color

Summer music Festivals at the park in down town San Juan behind Marie Callenders
Fun to sit on the lawn and listen to the live bands playing oldies and western music and watch the people dance. Nice evening out together for FREE! I'm a cheap date! Mom looks like she is in a trance but I just really caught her blinking.

These are really out of order but look for them in the right order. Resting inside after meal time MOM and DAD - others
Setting up chairs at Cassy's house to watch the fireworks. FIREWORKS = the black picture.
Cassy served brownies and ice cream as the finale for just a great day with friends and family. Did I mention the weather was perfect and no bugs no humidity-just great. Love to all!
May your summer be filled with good times.

Quite a nice feast laid out. Everybody had lots to eat. As the sun set Bob had to tilt down the umbrella to give shade to those eating at the table. Bob was good and covered the table with white paper so it didn't look quite so tacky. The weather was perfect.

4th of July 2011Mom and Bob did all the work. Got the fixns' ready and the back yard cleaned and the table set up. All I did was make the aluminum rods to hold up the grate on the BBQ. That wiped me out for the afternoon.
We had the Holsts and Cassy over.

GREAT STUFF DAD!!!!
Thanks for taking the time to post it all!!

Hey, Bobby....you look like you´re having a bit too much fun breaking down that tree....tell the truth, were you imagining it was Jeff?!?!?!?!!!

Thanks daddy!

The Webb reunion in Utah in June was a contrast of events, Marie only caught these 4 images and the her camera stopped working. But they document inactivity and total peace with high flying excitment. Ray at ease while the kids and younger adults fly high useing an eskimo blanket to toss each other high in the sky. Maie and Lu spent hours chatting in their hotel room

Well the time had finally come to pull out Jeffery Jon Ginns Lime tree. It was planted in March of 1977 as a gift from Ed and Virginia Ginn on the occasion of his birth. It flourished for years and bore a lot of limes. Over time it got diseased and the most part of it died but a struggling side shoot carried on for years. It lived 34 years very good for a lime tree.
We will miss it but hopefully it is time something different and new will replace it. A time of transition for Jeff also.

It was going to be a great day at Seaworld. The greeters greeted us and we got a map and tried to get organized. The big push was ATLANTIS . We found it and wouldn't you know it - there was something amiss with the ride so got ponchos and stood around waiting for about 30 minuets. And then the ride opened - hurraay! One nice thing about the day was that it was overcast so not many people wanted to get wet so the lines weren't that long. This was the main reason we went to Seaworld is because the last time ATLANTIS was closed. Brinley made up for it today!!!!
