Hi Nathan,

I finally glued your frame together today. And I am going to probably paint it a dark blue pretty close to the color resting on the vise. Now all we need is a picture. We will probably hang it on the stair case. We look forward to many wonderful pictures of your family fitting in your custom frame. Have a good day at work tomorrow. Hopefully the snow is beginning to disappear so you will have some patients to work on.
Love Dad

HiC

Printed your page and added a note to Rich and mailed it to him today. I'm sure he will enjoy the comments. Hope the dentista there doesn't mess you up. Glad to hear from you even if it is a painful subject.
Love ya, DAD

Teeth!

Teeth are wonderful things...without them I would be unable to enjoy LOTS of my favorite foods. BUT, they are expensive to keep up!
Yes, I went to the dentist today and he ranted and raved about my fabulous crowns (thanks Rich!!). He asked if they had been done here (in Spain), that´s a big NOPE!! Anyway, he also found two little cavities in between a few teeth and one major cavity that almost reaches the nerve. Now, I am a pro at the whole root canal thing, but my bank account ISN´T!!!
My hubby is awesome, and even though he hates spending money, when I told him the possible cost of 700€ he didn´t like it, but he was so good and said, "Da igual, la salud de los dientes es muy importante." (Translation: "It doesn´t matter, it´s important to have healthy teeth.")
So, I go back on April 16th...let´s hope that I don´t have to do the root canal!?!?!
I MISS YOU DR. WHEATFILL!!!! Oh ya, I miss mom and dad paying for it too!! Ha ha ha!!!

Gina Leaves for a funeral and Lu comes to party!!!

Gina's grandpa past away 2 days before his 90th birthday so Gina and her family flew out to Milwaukee to celebrate his life. She had a good time spending a few days with her dads side of the family out there.

Meanwhile back at the Ginn home I took over Gina's responsibilities of a mom. I am currently unemployed so I jumped right in. Yes she does a lot of stuff all day. Getting the kids off to school, changing 100's of poopie diapers, and lot's of cleaning up after the kids. I love her so much- shes got the toughest most rewarding job in the world---- tending our precious kids!!!

The first night Uncle Wade came down and helped us make Leprechaun traps- Stacia's teacher told them that it was possible to catch these little critters so we tried. But I think that we were a day late- The little things are too fast and I think more of them come out the night before St Patricks Day and we made the traps that night.

Then Aunt Lu came up and spent 3 quality days with us- She is such a great aunt to me. All the kids love her and we spent many hours playing games and putting puzzles together. Thanks for the quality time LU!!!!! We owe you.

I can't believe I finally got a blog story pretty much set up in the order it happened. Yeah for me!
Amanda, Pete, Sydney 9, Lilly7, PJ 5, Julia 3+, Sammy 2 these ages are as close as I can remember. The only one I'm sure of is Sammy because his Birthday was Saturday the day they arrived. They hadn't planed on a cake so I snuck off to von's while they were getting ready to eat spaghetti and bought a carrot cake. It was a middle of the road choice. Anyway when they got here the sun was just setting it was cool and getting dark but off to the park we went so the kids could run and play and get the wiggles out after being cooped up in the suburban for 10 hours. So these our the traditional pictures around the Ginn table while we scarfed down the scetti. The kids went down pretty good and then the four adults went in the front room and spent two hours in delightful conversation. At twelve thirty I had to say sorry and go to bed. I have an 8 AM meeting to get to each Sunday.

Happy birthday Sammy. That is a 2 in the middle of the cake. He really had no clue as to what was going on and he was very sleepy tired.

After Church and a nap we headed off to the tide pools at Dana Point. On our way to the tide pools we took pictures of them in the harbor as we made our way to the ocean. The tide was way out so they could walk out among the rocks and look for star fish, mussels, and crabs. The kids weren't too interested in looking for stuff. They were just interested in the ocean rolling in among the rocks. They were just in awe of the ocean. The picture of Marie and Julia rock hopping was my favorite. I really got close to Julia in the two days she was here. Even if she tends to be the most vocal and temperamental of all the kids (well except maybe Sammy the 2 year old).

After we spent the early afternoon at the tide pools in Dana Point we headed down to North Beach. I told the kids there was a real great game to play with the small breakers. Go out as far as possible when the surf rolls out and wait for the next bresker to come crashing in and see if you can out run it. They thought that sounded like lots of exciting fun. At first they were very cautious but as time went on they got wetter and wetter but they didn't care they were loving it.

Pet and Amanda had dry clothes for them and mom had towels so they dried off got in the car and were warm by the time they got home. They slept good that night. We had our hugs and goodbye's that night since they weren't going to be up when we went to work on Monday. Pete and Amanda work with there kids so it was a joy to have them in our house we got along great and had a real pleasant time talking with them and the kids were great and well mannered.

It snowed the morning we left...we left early because we didn´t want to get caught in a snow storm without chains.
The bridge crosses from one part of town to the other. The streets are all middle-age cobble stone only wide enough for one car (barely) so you have to park just before you go into the village. To get to the car you can go around or cross the bridge.

We were there the night before "Kings day" and the tradition is that the Kings come the night before and throw candy to everyone. In the larger cities it´s a BIG parade, but here it was the three kings pulled by a tractor!! As you can see you have a black king, blonde king and white king...that is also tradition and the black king, well the poor guy is painted black!!

These are just some interesting places in the village...the church of course and a building with a whole bunch of funky stuff on the balcony, very "middle-ages".

When I got back from the States in January David had a few days off and we went up to a little town up in the mountains. It was very pretty.
The water fall and little river run right through the middle of the little village.

Above is the view from our room.

March 9th 2009 in UTAH

It will be spring soon. One last snow storm????

I had a physical last week and the doc called me and said that my leg aches might be due to a vitamin D deficiency. Got the tests back today and he said all is normal except the lack of Vit D in my body. I will get some D in me and see if it helps. If it does then the kids get some too so their legs will stop aching.
Happy Birthday Jeff # 32
We tried to call but you didn't answer and your mail box was full.
So we couldn't ever give you a decent Happy Birthday song we
love you and hope all is well. Love Mom and Dad

Here is a great 3 min video about trials and adversity from an Apostle. If you're going through tough times right now, I hope it helps give you some perspective on why and what you need to learn.
