Ok people, today was Shawnna Amber Normand's first day in her new school. It's only Kindergarden, but she's finally out of the house. She did a great job and we already have the specialist ready to do an evaluation on her. They won't put her in first grade, but will put her in an advanced reading class.

Seeing as how Shawnna will be away from home, Ninha will have some more free time to dedicate to Drew and his needs. He is already learning the alphabet and working on his cutting and pasting skills. Hopefully he won't miss Shawnna too much. His first picture was of a VW bug and he did a great job. Of course! It's in his blood.

The Normand family is going to spend the Labor Day weekend in the backhills of Pennsylvania again. It's nice to live so close to Andy's dad's family. At least someone is here close enough for us to visit. Hopefully the rain stops and the travelling is safer. Sorry for taking so long with our posts, just too much going on to sit down and do anything.

We still don't know what we're going to do in a month when Andy's facility is shut down. We're leaning towards Pennsylvania, but there are so many options to choose from. We'll figure it out somehow. Wish us luck!
