My cousin Larry Vance (Clifford and Virginia Vance's son) will be undergoing brain surgery for a tumor in his brain Tuesday morning. He had some moles that started growing rapidly about a year and a half ago. He had them removed. They were melanoma and they thought they had caught them before they metastasized but unfortunately they are now in the blood steam and he has three in his brain and others in his lungs.
I talked to him tonight and he seemed very upbeat and looking for a positive outcome from the surgery tomorrow which will be followed by chemo and radiation.
He is younger than me and too young to pass on so I ask that we all keep him in our prayers for the foreseeable future.
